Privacy Policy

Shootbay is built privacy-first. The app runs entirely on your own device and does not send your studio data anywhere. This policy explains the little that our website and checkout do collect, and how we handle it.

The short version: the Shootbay app is 100% offline. Everything you enter — clients, shoots, finances, contracts — is stored only in your browser on your own device. We never receive it, and it never touches our servers or the cloud.

1. Who we are

Shootbay is a product of Allgood Studio ("we", "us", "our"). You can reach us any time at hello@shootbay.com or via shootbay.com.

2. Data the Shootbay app collects

None. The app is fully offline. All the information you enter is saved locally in your browser's storage on your device. We have no access to it, cannot see it, and it is never transmitted to us or any third party. You are responsible for keeping your own backups (Settings → Data → Export backup).

3. Data our website collects

When you visit our marketing website (shootbay.com), we use privacy-respecting analytics to understand traffic and improve the page:

Google Analytics (GA4): collects anonymised, aggregated usage data such as page views, approximate region, device type and referral source. It does not identify you personally. See Google's Privacy Policy.
Cookies: our analytics may set cookies to measure visits. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time without affecting the Shootbay app.

4. Payments

Purchases are handled entirely by our payment provider, Gumroad. When you buy Shootbay, you provide your details directly to Gumroad — we never see or store your card or payment information. Gumroad shares with us only the information needed to fulfil your order (such as your email address, so we can deliver your download and provide support). Please review Gumroad's Privacy Policy.

5. Email & support

If you email us, we use your message and email address only to reply and provide support. We do not sell, rent, or share your email with anyone, and we won't add you to marketing lists without your consent.

6. Third parties we use

Google Analytics — website usage measurement.
Gumroad — checkout, payment processing and order delivery.
Our website host — serves the static pages you're reading.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under GDPR or CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold about you, or to object to its processing. Because the app collects nothing and we hold very little (essentially your support emails and Gumroad-provided order email), fulfilling such requests is simple — just email hello@shootbay.com.

8. Children

Shootbay is a professional business tool and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll revise the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be noted on this page.
